Tax Planning & Strategy
Proactive planning through the year, because by the time the return is being prepared, almost every lever has already been pulled.
Tax Services
Federal and Florida business returns prepared accurately, filed on time, and explained in language you can act on.
Business tax preparation is the preparation and filing of your company's annual income tax returns: Form 1120 for C corporations, Form 1120-S for S corporations, Form 1065 for partnerships and multi-member LLCs, or Schedule C within a personal return for single-member LLCs and sole proprietors. Florida imposes a 5.5% corporate income tax reported on Form F-1120 for C corporations, while S corporations and partnerships generally pass income through to owners. Kingsley Accounting Group prepares the return, delivers the K-1s, and walks you through what drove the number before anything is filed.
These are the situations that bring people to this service most often.
Every engagement covers the following as standard. Nothing here is an upsell.
You get a short, business-specific request list, not a generic 40-page organizer. Everything uploads to a secure portal.
We prepare the return, reconcile book to tax, and Dariel reviews it. Anything unusual gets flagged and discussed, not silently absorbed.
We walk you through what drove the number and what to do differently next year. You approve, we e-file, and you get the full package.
Complete PDF with all schedules, e-file confirmations and K-1s.
A clear reconciliation from your P&L to taxable income.
Quarterly payment amounts and dates so nothing catches you out.
For calendar-year filers: S corporation (1120-S) and partnership (1065) returns are due March 16, 2026, extendable to September 15, 2026. C corporation (1120) returns are due April 15, 2026, extendable to October 15, 2026. Florida F-1120 is generally due one month after the federal due date. We confirm every date against your specific fiscal year.
Generally no. Florida's 5.5% corporate income tax applies to C corporations. S corporations and partnerships typically pass income through to owners, and because Florida has no personal income tax, that income is often not taxed at the state level at all: one of the genuine advantages of operating here.
No. An extension is an automatic, routine filing and does not increase audit risk. It extends the time to file, not the time to pay, so any tax owed is still due on the original date. A well-prepared extended return beats a rushed one filed on time.
Yes, and we recommend it. When the same firm handles both, the K-1 flows straight through, planning is coordinated across entity and owner, and nobody is waiting on anybody.
